Prospeo Pricing in 2026: Cheap Credits, a Flat of Strawberries, and a Rollover Rule That Depends on Who Asks
Prospeo pricing checked on October 2, 2026: Free, Starter, Growth and Pro per user, what a credit buys, why the price per credit used matters more than the sticker, the rollover split test in the page's own code, and ten-rep team math.
Prospeo pricing in 2026 is four per-user plans: Free with 100 credits a month, Starter at $49 a month or $37 billed yearly, Growth at $99 or $74, and Pro at $249 or $187, where one credit buys one verified email and a mobile number costs 10 credits.
A flat of strawberries at the farm stand is the best price per berry you will ever see. Twelve punnets, one price, a third cheaper than buying them one box at a time. The trouble starts on Thursday, when you open the fridge and find four punnets gone soft. The farm stand never billed you for the soft ones. You paid for them when you bought the flat.
Prospeo pricing in 2026 is four per-user plans: Free with 100 credits a month, Starter at $49 a month or $37 billed yearly, Growth at $99 or $74, and Pro at $249 or $187, where one credit buys one verified email and a mobile number costs 10 credits (prospeo.io/pricing, opened October 2, 2026). The yearly plans are the flat. They deliver all twelve months of credits on day one, at a quarter off. Whether that is a bargain depends on a number Prospeo’s page cannot show you, which is how many of those credits your reps will use, and on a rule the page states two different ways depending on who is reading it.
The quick answer, three ways:
- Prospeo Starter, yearly at $441. One person who sends a lot of email and knows it: 24,000 verified emails a year at under 2 cents each.
- Prospeo Growth, monthly at $99. A rep who needs HubSpot or Salesforce sync and wants to test usage for a few months before committing to the flat.
- Supered Prospector, $540 a rep a year on your own Clay account. A team that already pays for Clay, where reps build lists from LinkedIn, a company site or the CRM record, and Clay’s waterfall asks 200+ providers, Prospeo included.
How much does Prospeo cost in 2026?
Prospeo’s pricing page renders in the browser, so we read it twice: the rendered page and the plan comparison table under it, both opened today.
| Prospeo pricing (Oct 2, 2026) | Free | Starter | Growth | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly billing, per user | $0 | $49 | $99 | $249 |
| Yearly billing, per user a month | n/a | $37 | $74 | $187 |
| Billed for the year | n/a | $441 | $888 | $2,241 |
| Credits | 100 a month | 2,000 a month, or 24,000 a year upfront | 5,000 a month, or 60,000 | 15,000 a month, or 180,000 |
| Per email, yearly | free | about 1.8 cents | about 1.5 cents | about 1.2 cents |
| Per mobile (10 credits), yearly | free | about 18 cents | about 15 cents | about 12 cents |
| Search filters | 28 | 32 | 38 | All 41 |
| CRM | none | ”Basic Integrations” | Native HubSpot and Salesforce, CRM enrichment | Same as Growth |
| Adds | Chrome extension, AI Search | CSV and API enrichment, roles and permissions | Job change tracking, search analytics | Highest API rate limits |
Three lines on the page do more work than the plan cards. “Every plan connects to Clay, Zapier, Outreach, Lemlist, and CSV export,” and only Growth and Pro “offer native HubSpot and Salesforce sync,” so a team that wants contacts landing in the CRM starts at $74 a user, not $37. The yearly saving is a flat 25% on all three paid plans: $588 against $441 on Starter, $1,188 against $888 on Growth, $2,988 against $2,241 on Pro. And Prospeo charges per user, with credits counted “PER USER,” so a team of ten buys ten flats.
Prospeo itself is independent. A news search on October 2, 2026 found no acquisition or funding announcement; Trustpilot lists the company in Toronto.
What does one Prospeo credit buy?
A verified work email. Prospeo’s FAQ puts the whole meter in one sentence: “One credit gives you one verified business email, while a direct mobile number costs 10 credits.” Two smaller rules sit under it. A people export “cost[s] 1 credit per email found (0 if no email is found),” so a miss is free. And “One company record with all of the data points will cost one credit per export.” Searching and previewing results costs nothing.
So Prospeo is an email shop with a phone counter at the back. At 1.2 to 1.8 cents an email on yearly plans, it is among the cheapest verified emails we have priced this month; Hunter’s yearly plans run from about 0.8 to 1.7 cents an email found, and Hunter sells no phone numbers at all (Hunter.io alternatives). The phone counter is where the meter bites. A Starter user who spends every credit on mobiles gets 200 a month, about ten a working day. The Bridge Group’s 2025 SDR report, 351 companies, puts the median SDR at 44 phone activities a day (Bridge Group, 2025). Reps redial the same people, so a dialer does not need 44 new numbers a day, but a rep who builds a fresh calling list each week will run Starter dry well before the month ends.
What is the Prospeo cost per credit you use?
Go back to the fridge. The farm stand prices the flat; you pay for the berries you eat. A Prospeo credit has the same two prices: the one on the page, and the one you work out at renewal by dividing what you paid by what you used.
On Growth yearly, $888 buys 60,000 credits, all delivered on day one. Use them all and an email costs 1.48 cents. Use three quarters and it costs 1.97 cents. Use half and it costs 2.96 cents, which is more than the 2.45 cents a Starter user pays on monthly billing with no year signed. A mobile number moves the same way, from 14.8 cents at full use to 29.6 cents at half.
The same complaint turns up in Prospeo’s own reviews, in the reviewer’s words. A founder on G2 in September 2026: “The pricing is great if you’re going to be using all the credits you get… But if you’re not going to be using all those credits, they don’t carry over. And for me half the credits are likely a waste, which makes the service twice as more expensive for me than it is” (Muhammad A., Marketing and Advertising, G2). He did the arithmetic in the chart above, by hand, after the fact.
Strawberries rot whatever you do. Credits expire only if the rule says they do, and Prospeo states the rule two ways.
Do Prospeo credits roll over?
It depends on which version of the pricing page you were shown. On most loads today, the FAQ said: “Credits reset on renewal and do not roll over,” and a second answer: “No, credits do NOT roll over. Any unused credits expire at renewal, and your credit balance resets each billing cycle.” On one of our loads, the same question read: “Credits roll over and if anything is unused, it will be added to your next billing cycle,” with “Unused credits rollover” printed under each paid plan.
Both versions live in the page’s own JavaScript. The code that picks between them is a test named paid_CreditRollover. For a visitor with no Prospeo account, it draws a random number once, shows the rollover version when the number falls under 0.3, and saves the draw in the browser so the same browser keeps seeing the same answer. A logged-in account sees whatever version is set on that account. We read the code on October 2, 2026; the test can end or change at any time.
Pricing tests are normal, and a company testing a more generous policy deserves some credit for it. The practical problem is the buyer’s. Two colleagues pricing the same plan on the same day can come away with opposite answers to the question that decides the strawberry math. The fix costs one email: ask Prospeo which rule applies to your account, and get the answer in writing before you pay for the year. If Prospeo says your credits roll over, the flat stops rotting and the yearly plan is the clear buy. If they reset, size the plan to what you will use.
Which Prospeo credit is the cheapest?
The add-on. Prospeo’s FAQ says a team can “choose an add-on starting at 1,000 credits for $10,” which is 1 cent a credit, and 10 cents a mobile. That undercuts every plan’s own credit, from 2.45 cents on Starter monthly down to about 1.25 cents on Pro yearly.
| Price of one Prospeo credit (Oct 2, 2026) | Price | Credits | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter, monthly | $49 | 2,000 | 2.45 cents |
| Growth, monthly | $99 | 5,000 | 1.98 cents |
| Starter, yearly | $441 | 24,000 | about 1.84 cents |
| Pro, monthly | $249 | 15,000 | 1.66 cents |
| Growth, yearly | $888 | 60,000 | 1.48 cents |
| Pro, yearly | $2,241 | 180,000 | about 1.25 cents |
| Credit add-on | $10 | 1,000 | 1.00 cent |
That changes how to buy. The plan is partly a feature pass (the CRM sync lives on Growth, the full filter set on Pro) and partly a minimum order of credits. Since add-on credits are cheaper and arrive “immediately,” the lowest-risk purchase is the smallest plan with the features you need, topped up when you run short. One caution from the same FAQ: add-on credits are added now and “your credit balance resets at your next billing cycle,” so a top-up bought the week before renewal can expire unused. Buy berries the day you will eat them.
Why do teams leave Prospeo?
Fair first, as a Prospeo review would be. Prospeo held a 4.6 out of 5 from 854 reviews on G2 on October 2, 2026 (G2, Prospeo.io reviews), and a 4.6 from 140 reviews on Trustpilot the same day (Trustpilot). GTM engineers praise it in public; Prospeo’s own pricing page quotes one who “tested over 100 GTM tools in the past 12 months” and launched outbound with Prospeo. For a founder or a small outbound team that lives in email, it is a sound buy at a low price.
The complaints gather in four places, and each is a buying criterion:
- Unused credits. The strawberry problem above, in a reviewer’s own math: half the credits wasted, “twice as more expensive.”
- Database depth. The same G2 reviewer: “Prospeo has a relatively smaller database compared with other providers in this space,” so he keeps “the free trial of another tool” for the leads Prospeo misses.
- Company matching. A founder building on the API: “occasional company-resolution mismatches,” where “a company search resolved to a different business with a similar name” (Alfiero I., G2, September 2026).
- Data about people who never asked. Two of the newest Trustpilot reviews are from people in the database, not buyers: one found “Incorrect basic data on my company” and was told it “cannot edit anything as it’s all just computer generated” (June 23, 2026); another reported receiving outreach at a private address and cited GDPR (September 7, 2026). Prospeo links an opt-out page from its footer.
The second complaint is the one a bigger plan cannot fix. One database has the contacts it has, which is why the rest of this page looks past a single database.
Why should you trust this breakdown?
We sell no contact data. Supered has no database of its own, on purpose; Prospector runs on Clay, our only data provider. So we gain nothing from whether you buy Prospeo, Apollo or Findymail. Our stake is what reps do with a contact once it lands in the CRM.
Supered started inside RevPartners, the HubSpot partner I founded, which sold roughly twice as much Sales Hub as any other partner and reached HubSpot’s Elite tier in 13 months. Supered is the #1 sales enablement app on the HubSpot marketplace, with 6,000+ installs and a 5.0 rating from 122 reviews there, and on G2 it held a 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews on October 1, 2026 (G2, Supered reviews). The Prospeo figures on this page link to the pages they came from, opened today.
Which Prospeo plan, or which Prospeo alternative, fits your team?
The grades use the five weights from our Hunter.io alternatives and UpLead pricing pages: coverage of the contact you need (x3), delivery where the rep already works (x2), price structure for a mid-market team (x2), what the leader sees after the export (x2), and bundled outreach (x1), out of 50. The weights serve one job, a team of five to fifty reps building its own lists. Flip the lens to “one person, cheapest verified email” and Prospeo moves to the top.
| Rank | Option | Grade | Best fit | CRM integration | Setup effort | Pricing (plan with the feature) | Reason to switch |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Supered Prospector | A (44) | Teams already paying for Clay | Native: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive | Demo, then live on your own Clay account | $45 a rep a month, billed annually, plus your Clay plan | Clay’s waterfall across 200+ providers, Prospeo included, from the rep’s own screen |
| 2 | Apollo | A- (36) | Small teams wanting data plus sequencing | Native | Self-serve | Basic $49 a seat a month, annual | About 16 cents a phone, outreach in the same seat |
| 3 | Snov.io | B+ (30) | Email-first teams with many seats | Native HubSpot and Pipedrive | Self-serve | Starter $39 a month, unlimited seats | One price for the whole team |
| 4 | Findymail | B+ (29) | Small teams that want credits to keep | Native, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive | Self-serve | Starter $99 a month, 5,000 credits | Credits roll over up to twice the plan |
| ref | Prospeo | B+ (29) | One person, cheapest verified email | Native from Growth | Self-serve, minutes | Growth $74 a user a month yearly for CRM sync | The reference: about 1.5 cents an email |
| 5 | FullEnrich | B (27) | A waterfall without Clay | Native HubSpot | Self-serve | Pro $55 a month, 1,000 credits | Many providers per lookup, no Clay account |
What does Prospeo cost for a team of ten?
More than the seat price suggests, because Prospeo prices and counts credits per user. Ten reps on Starter yearly list at $4,410, with 240,000 credits between them. If the contacts need to land in HubSpot or Salesforce, the floor is Growth: ten times $888 is $8,880 a year. A rep who hoards credits cannot hand them to a rep who runs out, so the strawberry math runs ten times, once per fridge.
Read the Prospector bars both ways. Without Clay, Clay Growth plus Prospector for ten reps is $11,340, more than ten Prospeo Growth seats, and Clay’s 72,000 Data Credits a year cover roughly 12,000 email-and-phone contacts at about six credits each (our arithmetic from Clay’s calculator). On raw contact count, Prospeo wins that comparison. With Clay already paid for, the comparison is $540 a rep against $888 on Growth, about 39% less, and the contacts come from every provider in the waterfall, Prospeo among them.
How does Supered Prospector compare to Prospeo pricing?
Back to the farm stand. Prospeo is one good stall with low prices on the board. Clay is the market: its waterfall walks from stall to stall until one returns a verified email or phone, across 200+ data and AI vendors under one contract (clay.com, September 25, 2026), and “If an enrichment returns no result, you’re not charged Data Credits or Actions” (clay.com/pricing).
Prospeo already has a stall in that market. Clay’s integration page lists Prospeo as a data provider since September 2023, with five actions (Find Work Email, Find Mobile Number, Find Work Email and Enrich Person from LinkedIn, Find people at company, and domain search), each sold on “Clay Credits or Bring Your Own Account” (Clay, Prospeo integration, opened October 2, 2026). A team on Clay does not choose between Clay and Prospeo. It puts Prospeo in the waterfall, pays per result on Clay credits or plugs in one Prospeo account, and stops buying a flat of credits for every rep.
The market has had one weakness. It was built for the GTM engineer, who designs the tables, and reps rarely walk into it. Clay plus Supered is the best way for a sales team to prospect: GTM engineers build in Clay, reps never open Clay. Prospector runs inside the Supered Chrome extension, on the team’s own Clay account:
- The GTM engineer’s table, as a button. The engineer builds named flows once, for person enrichment or the buying committee, each tied to a destination such as the CRM or your sales engagement tool. The rep picks one from a Push menu. “Your logic stays yours: waterfalls, tiers, tags, and sequence variables.”
- The rep’s own screen. A LinkedIn profile, a company’s website, or a HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive record. On Sales Navigator, reps add leads to a prospect list and push the list to a Clay table. Prospector works within LinkedIn’s terms and does not copy search results in bulk; the contact data comes from Clay’s waterfall on the customer’s Clay account.
- A check before the duplicate. Before pushing, the rep sees a “Prospected 1 other time” style flag and who owns the record, so no two reps work the same person.
- Found, worked, closed. The leader sees every list found, who is working their list and who isn’t, and how each lead ended the way your process says: Qualified, Recycled or Disqualified. Your VP sees it too, and the Clay budget grows on what the VP sees.
Teams can start from the Supered Clay template or bring their own tables. Prospector is $45 per rep per month, billed annually, from one user, on its own plan separate from Supered’s process products (Prospector, Supered pricing). It runs on your Clay account and your Clay credits. Skip the extra seats, and get more out of the Clay you already pay for. The sourcing use case walks the rep’s side, and the Clay Chrome extension guide covers how teams put Clay on LinkedIn today.
Choose something else if any of these is true:
- No Clay account. Prospector needs one. A founder or a three-person team without Clay is better served by Prospeo Starter or Findymail.
- No waterfall owner. Someone decides which providers sit in which order. If no one on the team owns that and no partner will, a single database with a published price is less work. (RevPartners, the company I founded, is a Clay Elite Studio Partner that builds and tunes tables for teams in that spot; there are others.)
- Outreach from the same vendor. If you want data and sequencing in one seat, Apollo’s pricing bundles them.
What are the best Prospeo alternatives?
The Prospeo alternatives below all sell contacts; the useful question is which one fits the job.
- Apollo, for data plus sequencing. Basic is $49 a seat a month on annual billing with 30,000 credits a year, an email at 1 credit and a phone at 8, so about 16 cents a phone against Prospeo Starter’s 18. Apollo pricing walks the meter.
- Findymail, for credits you keep. Starter is $99 a month for 5,000 credits, the same 10-credit mobile, and its pricing page says credits roll over up to twice the plan, which takes the strawberry problem off the table. Its mobile finder is non-EU only. Findymail alternatives compares it in full.
- Snov.io, for many seats on one bill. Starter at $39 a month “Includes unlimited team seats,” with phones sold through a separate token subscription. Snov.io pricing has the ladder.
- FullEnrich, for a waterfall without Clay. Pro is $55 a month for 1,000 credits, about 55 cents a mobile. FullEnrich pricing decodes it.
- ContactOut, for LinkedIn-heavy recruiting and sales. ContactOut pricing covers the plans; the wider field sits in our email finder tools guide.
What we recommend
Three ways forward, and our view on each.
- One person, email first. Start on Free’s 100 credits, test the data against people you already know, then buy Starter. Ask Prospeo whether your account’s credits roll over. If yes, take the yearly plan at $441. If no, start monthly at $49 for a quarter, measure what you use, and only then buy the year.
- A small team that needs CRM sync. Growth is the floor at $74 a user a month yearly. Size the seats to the reps who will prospect every week, keep the rest off the plan, and cover spikes with add-ons at a cent a credit early in the cycle.
- A team with Clay. Do not buy ten flats. Put Prospeo in the waterfall on Clay credits or one shared Prospeo account, and give reps the tables from where they already work with Supered Prospector, at $540 a rep a year.
A flat of strawberries is a fine buy for a family that eats strawberries every day. Prospeo is a fine buy for a team that sends verified email every day, at some of the lowest per-email prices on the market. Count the berries before you buy the flat, get the rollover rule in writing, and then ask where the contact goes once it reaches your CRM, which is the question our Hunter.io alternatives page grades the whole field on.
