Supered vs Highspot depends on which job you are hiring for. Highspot, now sold as Highspot by Seismic since the merger closed on 18 August 2026, is the stronger pick for managing sales content and training at scale. Supered is the stronger pick when reps know the process and skip it: your expectations become rules, checked against each open deal in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, and the rep sees what to fix on the record they already have open. You can also run both.
G2 on 1 October 2026: Highspot by Seismic 4.7 out of 5 from 1,206 reviews; Supered 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews.
Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026. The combined company runs under the Seismic name, led by Seismic CEO Rob Tarkoff, and serves about 2,500 customers and 3.5 million users (GeekWire, 18 August 2026). Highspot's own site says it in one line: "Highspot is now Highspot by Seismic. Seismic and Highspot are one company" (highspot.com). The product is still sold and supported under that name.
A day later the US Department of Justice closed its antitrust review, concluding that AI-native competitors are growing fast enough to keep pressure on the legacy providers (DOJ, 19 August 2026). Gartner read the buyer side more coolly. Its First Take of 13 February 2026 called the deal "a defensive consolidation against pricing, CRM overlap and AI threats" and advised short renewal terms, price protections with exit clauses, and data portability (Gartner).
None of that makes Highspot a worse product this morning. It changes what a renewal looks like. For years the obvious alternative to name in a Highspot negotiation was Seismic, and the two now report to the same CEO.

| CRM integration | Native: a Salesforce integration that recommends content, plays and training inside the CRM, plus a HubSpot integration in Highspot's directory. | Native: HubSpot and Salesforce. Rules run against your CRM records with no middleware. |
| Where reps see it | The Highspot web app, plus panels inside Salesforce and other tools. | A sidebar on the HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive record, any web app through the Chrome or Edge extension, and Claude through Supered's MCP. |
| Setup effort | G2 Ease of Setup 8.8. Reviewers name the work of filling the library. | Live in under a week, sometimes in a day. G2 Ease of Setup 8.9. |
| Pricing | No public price. Vendr median $60,004 a year across 167 purchases (range $16,163 to $177,366). | Process Compliance $40 per user per month yearly ($45 monthly), 5-user minimum, includes Digital Adoption ($13.50 / $15). |

| Reason to pick it | Your library is large, governed and buyer-facing, and the bottleneck is finding and sending the right asset. | Reps have the content and skip the steps, and you want to see who followed the process without opening each record. |

How we graded: for the job most people typing "Supered vs Highspot" are weighing, getting reps to follow the process inside the CRM. Weights: rules checked against CRM records (35%), guidance where reps already work (25%), a manager view of who followed it (20%), setup and price for a 10 to 50 rep team (20%). We also grade the opposite lane, content and training at scale, so you can flip the lens.
| Tool | Lane | Grade | Rank | Why it ranks here |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Supered | Process followed in the CRM | A | 1 | Built for this job: rules on records, a board per rep, fixes in the CRM or Claude, a public price. |
| Highspot by Seismic | Process followed in the CRM | C+ | 2 | Recommends plays and content inside Salesforce; we found no published per-rule check of open records. |
| Highspot by Seismic | Content and training at scale | A | 1 | 4.7 from 1,206 G2 reviews, library governance, training and coaching in one place. |
| Supered | Content and training at scale | C+ | 2 | Cards, guides and action plans built for the moment of work, without a large buyer-facing content program. |
Highspot earned its name on the library. Marketing publishes, enablement organizes, and a rep searching for the security one-pager or this year's pricing deck finds the approved version instead of the one saved to a desktop in 2023. Its G2 record, 4.7 out of 5 from 1,206 reviews, is a strong score on a large base, and reviewers rate its support 9.4 and its ease of use 9.1 (G2). The strengths reviewers cite most are ease of use, real-time analytics and centralized document management.
Around the library, Highspot built training, coaching and AI. Its Salesforce integration promises to "embed Highspot AI into Salesforce to recommend content, plays, and training" and to "help sales reps move deals forward without leaving the CRM" (Highspot). For an enablement team whose job is keeping a large sales org on the same approved materials, that is a serious product, and we would not talk you out of it.
Highspot is a well-run library. The shelves are labelled, old editions get pulled, and the librarian can tell you which books went out last month. What a library cannot tell you is whether anyone cooked the recipe once the book got home.
Highspot's G2 reviews are mostly warm, which makes the complaints worth reading closely. They cluster around effort and cost, and the reason buyers end up on a page like this sits underneath them.
Supered starts from your expectations instead of your content. A close date that has passed, no amount after Discovery, no recap within a day of a meeting, an overdue task: each becomes a Process Rule. Rules group into a Process Ruleset, and a Process Board checks each open deal in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive against them and lists what is broken, rep by rep. The rep sees the same list in a sidebar on the record they already have open, fixes the field there, and the violation clears without anyone marking it done.
The same rules work outside the CRM. Supered connects to Claude through MCP, so a rep can ask Claude to clear their board: Claude reads the rules, updates the fields, and saves recap emails as drafts for the rep to review (Supered for Claude). Managers see who followed the process, with streaks for reps who finish the day at zero, so the one-on-one opens on the buyer. The full pattern is on sales expectations.
To keep the library picture: Supered does not stock the shelves. It stands at the counter where the cooking happens and checks the steps. It still carries content built for that counter (knowledge cards, step-by-step guides, action plans with knowledge checks, in-app updates), and a rule can link straight to the Highspot asset the rep needs at that step, so a team that keeps Highspot does not rebuild its library.
Process Compliance costs $40 per user per month on a yearly plan ($45 monthly), with a 5-user minimum, and includes Digital Adoption. For 25 reps on the yearly plan that is $12,000 a year. Vendr's $60,004 Highspot median covers deals of many sizes and module mixes, so use it to size the conversation; your own quote will differ. Full plans are on Supered pricing.
A 30-minute demo: we take three expectations your reps skip, turn them into rules, and show the board for your pipeline.
If your problem is finding, governing and sending the right content at scale, Highspot by Seismic is the best pick. We are the best pick if your problem is reps who know the process and skip it.
Both, in order. Keep Highspot for content and add Supered for the process. Get the behavior right first, then let the content and the AI compound it.
We sell one of the two products on this page, so weigh what follows. Each competitor number links to its source and carries the date we checked it, 1 October 2026. If Highspot ships a rules engine that checks open records, this page changes.
Supered started inside RevPartners, the HubSpot partner Matt Bolian founded, which sold roughly twice as much Sales Hub as any other partner and reached HubSpot's Elite tier in 13 months. Supered is the #1 sales enablement app on the HubSpot marketplace and a HubSpot Premier Tech Partner, with 6,000+ installs. On G2 it holds 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews; on the HubSpot marketplace, 5.0 from 122 reviews (both checked 1 October 2026).
"Instead of asking people to hunt through docs or a separate LMS, Supered puts the right guidance directly inside our CRM at the moment it's needed; deal stage, workflow step, record type, you name it."
"I used to miss steps - forget to update a field, skip a follow-up, use an outdated template. That cost me deals and got me flagged in reviews. Supered removed all of that."
Reviews quoted verbatim from our wall of love, which links each one to its source.
For one job, yes. If you bought Highspot mainly to get reps following the sales process inside the CRM, Supered does that job directly: your expectations become rules, checked against open deals in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. If you bought Highspot for content management and training, Supered is an addition to it.
Yes. They do different jobs. Keep the library in Highspot by Seismic and put the process in Supered. A Supered card or rule can link straight to the Highspot asset the rep needs at that step, so the content does not get rebuilt.
Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026. The company operates as Seismic under CEO Rob Tarkoff, with about 2,500 customers and 3.5 million users, and the product is now called Highspot by Seismic. The US Department of Justice closed its review of the deal on 19 August 2026.
Highspot does not publish prices. Vendr's marketplace data puts the median Highspot contract at $60,004 a year across 167 purchases, with a range of $16,163 to $177,366 (checked 1 October 2026). Supered publishes its price: Process Compliance is $40 per user per month on a yearly plan, $45 monthly, with a 5-user minimum.
Yes. Supered integrates natively with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, and its Chrome and Edge extension shows cards and rules in any web app reps use. Supered has no mobile app, so it fits teams who work at a computer.
Teams typically go live in under a week, sometimes in a day. The slow part is agreeing which expectations matter most, so start with the handful your reps skip most often and add rules from there.
