Prospector turns the Clay tables you built into flows reps pick from a menu in Sales Navigator, on a company's website or inside a HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive record. Your waterfalls and tiers stay in Clay, on your account. The list requests in Slack stop, and you can show the pipeline your tables made.
Clay named your job. "Since we coined this role in 2023," its guide to GTM engineering says, the role has spread to the point where "about 100 GTME job listings go live every month" (clay.com, checked October 2, 2026). Clay's homepage describes the split the same way you live it: "GTM engineers build on Clay," and the goal is to "Build centralized workflows for any rep to run."
The build part works. The run part lands on your desk. The rep is on a Sales Navigator lead or inside the CRM, and the table sits in a workspace they have no seat in. So the request comes to you as a Slack message, you send back a CSV, and the rep pastes it into the CRM, sometimes on top of a buyer a teammate was already working. Your best waterfall ends up as a spreadsheet attachment, and when someone asks what Clay is worth, the only number you can point to is credits spent.
An admin turns on Clay inside Supered with no engineering, and each table connects with its webhook, no code. A flow pairs a Clay table or function, such as person enrichment or a buying committee, with a destination: the CRM on the account, or a sequence in your sales engagement tool.
On a Sales Navigator prospect list, a company website or a CRM record, the rep opens the Push menu and picks your flow. The table runs on your Clay credits, then sends the result to the CRM or the sequence. The rep never opens Clay.
Found, Worked, Closed. Who used which list with no duplicate work, who is working their list and who isn't, and how each lead ended: Qualified, Recycled or Disqualified.
Flow names above are examples. Your flows are whatever you build in Clay.
"Your logic stays yours: waterfalls, tiers, tags, and sequence variables." Reps get the output of your table. They never see the inside of it.
When a CSV leaves your hands, the trail ends. With Prospector, a list a rep builds from your table carries through to how each lead ended, so the work shows up as pipeline instead of credits. Your VP sees it too, and that is how the Clay budget grows.
Reps use your tables from where they sell. No duplicate work across reps.
See who is working their list, and who isn't.
No lead left hanging. Each lead ends the way your process says: Qualified, Recycled or Disqualified.
Your sales leader gets the same view: Prospector for sales leaders.
RevPartners, a Walker Sands company, is a Clay Elite Studio Partner that builds and tunes the tables with you, for teams not on Clay yet or teams that want a second pair of hands (revpartners.io/allbound). Disclosure: Supered's co-founder Matt Bolian founded RevPartners, and Supered started inside it. Any good Clay partner can do this work.
Prospector is $45 per rep per month, billed annually, from 1 user, on your Clay account and credits. It runs inside the Supered Chrome extension. No free trial yet: it starts with a demo on your own tables.
No. Prospector runs on your Clay account and your Clay credits. Reps run your tables from Sales Navigator, a company website or a CRM record and never log into Clay.
No. Your waterfalls, tiers, tags and sequence variables stay in Clay, where you built them. Prospector sends the rep's lead, list or account into the table and carries the result to the CRM or a sequence. Clay is its only data provider.
An admin turns on Clay inside the Supered UI, with no engineering. Each table connects with its webhook, with no code. You then name the flow and choose where its results go: the CRM on the account, or a sequence in your sales engagement tool.
Yes. Reps add Sales Navigator leads to a prospect list and push the list to your Clay table. Prospector works within LinkedIn's terms and does not copy search results in bulk; the contact data comes from Clay's waterfall on the customer's Clay account.
HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive. Reps can start from a record in any of the three and sync to it in one click, with the field mapping set once.
No. Start with the Supered Clay template, or bring your own tables. If you want a partner to build and tune them with you, RevPartners, the company our co-founder Matt Bolian founded, is a Clay Elite Studio Partner.
