PhantomBuster Alternatives in 2026: A New Key Cutter Is Still a Copy of Your Key
PhantomBuster alternatives graded for a sales team on October 2, 2026.
On four ranking lists, 30 of 49 recommended alternatives work the same way PhantomBuster does. Pick by the job instead: extraction, outreach, contact data in the CRM, or scraping beyond LinkedIn.
PhantomBuster alternatives are the tools a team weighs to replace a job PhantomBuster does, bulk extraction, outreach automation or contact data in the CRM; on four ranking lists we read, 30 of 49 do that job the same way, under the user's LinkedIn login.
A locksmith cuts you a spare key, you hand it to a stranger who walks your halls at night, and one morning the building manager asks whose key it was. You decide to switch locksmiths. The new one charges less and cuts more carefully, and the key he hands the stranger is still a copy of yours.
PhantomBuster alternatives are the tools a team weighs to replace a job PhantomBuster does, bulk extraction, outreach automation or contact data in the CRM; on four ranking lists we read, 30 of 49 do that job the same way, under the user’s LinkedIn login. That count is ours, made on October 2, 2026, from each list’s own descriptions. It says the usual comparison is a contest between locksmiths. This page sorts the field by the job instead. The quick answer, three ways:
- Supered Prospector, for teams on Clay. Reps get an email and a phone for the LinkedIn lead in front of them from the team’s own Clay table, and the lead lands in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive under the right owner. $45 a rep a month, billed annually.
- Apollo, for teams without Clay. Its own database and sequencer replace both the extraction and the email outreach, with no software acting on LinkedIn. Basic from $49 a user a month on annual billing.
- Evaboot, for a founder who wants a Navigator CSV. The cheapest clean Sales Navigator export with emails, from $29 a month, and a locksmith of the same trade.
What do the top PhantomBuster alternatives lists recommend?
We read four lists that rank on the first page for this search: Salesforge’s, ZoomInfo’s, Evaboot’s and PhantomBuster’s own. For each recommended tool, we counted it only when the list’s own description says it sends invitations, messages or profile visits on LinkedIn, or extracts LinkedIn or Sales Navigator pages. Contact databases, email finders, general web scrapers and signal tools were not counted, even where they touch LinkedIn in some other way.
| List (date) | Tools recommended | Act on LinkedIn under your login | Examples counted |
|---|---|---|---|
| Salesforge (May 23, 2026) | 10 | 9 | Expandi, Dripify, Waalaxy, Dux-Soup, La Growth Machine |
| ZoomInfo (June 14, 2026) | 7 | 4 | Expandi, Dripify, Evaboot, Waalaxy |
| Evaboot (September 7, 2026) | 20 | 11 | Evaboot, Wiza, Scrupp, HeyReach, Expandi |
| PhantomBuster (July 8, 2026) | 12 | 6 | Dripify, HeyReach, Expandi, SalesRobot, Evaboot |
| Total | 49 | 30 (61%) |
One list on the first page has already moved on. Trigify’s alternatives page, ranking third, now announces that the Trigify team is joining HubSpot and the standalone platform is being retired (September 23, 2026), which is a fair reminder to news-check any tool a list recommends before you migrate to it.
Go back to the locksmith. The 30 tools differ in real ways. By the lists’ own descriptions, Expandi assigns each user a dedicated IP address, Waalaxy paces invitations, and HeyReach rotates many sender accounts. Those are better-cut keys. LinkedIn’s help center names the act itself, not the pace. It says it does not permit “third party software, including “crawlers”, bots, browser plug-ins, or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn’s website,” and that members who use them “risk having their accounts restricted or shut down” (LinkedIn Help, checked October 2, 2026). PhantomBuster’s own safety guide says the same from the other side: “no automation tool can eliminate risk entirely” (PhantomBuster, updated August 3, 2026).
Where the analogy stops: some tools on those lists are not copying keys at all. Kaspr, Prospeo and Apollo appear on them too, and each answers a different question, where to get the contact data, not how to automate LinkedIn. That split is the useful one.
Why do teams leave PhantomBuster?
The reasons, in the words of reviewers and the competitors who court them, turn into the criteria for picking a replacement.
- The account at risk. Evaboot’s list puts it first: “Phantombuster runs cloud bots that cycle through actions on your behalf. LinkedIn flags repetitive patterns.” The criterion: does the replacement act on LinkedIn under my login at all?
- Hours that run out. “The 80 hours of monthly execution time are used up quite quickly when you run automations continuously,” wrote Naud H. on G2 in February 2026. The criterion: what is the meter, and does it charge for misses?
- Missing phones and raw files. PhantomBuster’s plans list email discovery credits and no phone credits, its email meter charges “1 credit = 1 lookup, even if no match is found,” and Evaboot’s list adds “Data cleaning is manual.” The criterion: does a callable lead arrive in the CRM, or a CSV to fix?
- Build effort. A Phantom is configured, chained and scheduled by someone. The criterion: can a rep use it without a builder in the loop?
Our PhantomBuster pricing breakdown runs the numbers behind the second and third points: Start’s 20 hours can outlast what one Sales Navigator account is advised to extract in a month.
Which job did you hire PhantomBuster for?
PhantomBuster is a general machine, so teams buy it for different jobs. Name yours, and the shortlist shrinks to two or three tools.
- Bulk extraction. You wanted a Sales Navigator search as a spreadsheet. Evaboot does that more cleanly and more cheaply, and it reads your logged-in searches the same way. LinkedIn sells no CSV export on any plan; export Sales Navigator leads covers every route.
- Outreach automation. You wanted invitations and follow-ups sent for you. Waalaxy and Expandi are the specialists. The risk is the same kind; Waalaxy pricing sets its invitation meter beside LinkedIn’s weekly cap.
- Contact data in the CRM. You wanted reps calling and emailing LinkedIn leads from HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. Here the email and phone come from data providers outside LinkedIn, so the job can be done without software acting on the rep’s login. For a sales team, it is usually the job behind the purchase.
- Scraping beyond LinkedIn. Google Maps listings, Instagram followers, event pages. PhantomBuster’s library is wide and the API is included; stay put, or look at a general scraping platform.
Why trust this comparison?
We sell no automation and no scraped data, and the job Supered Prospector does is the third one above. It ranks first in the table for that job only. Supered started inside RevPartners, the HubSpot partner I founded, which reached HubSpot’s Elite tier in 13 months on sales implementations alone. Supered is the #1 sales enablement app on the HubSpot marketplace with 6,000+ installs, rated 5.0 from 122 reviews there and 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews on G2, checked October 1, 2026.
How do the PhantomBuster alternatives grade for a sales team?
The grades weigh five things for the contact-data job: reps building lists from LinkedIn and working them in a CRM. Callable contact data, email and phone (x3); exposure of the rep’s LinkedIn account (x2); landing in the CRM with ownership visible (x2); price for a five-to-fifty-rep team (x2); setup (x1). Out of 50. Weight for one operator scraping many platforms and PhantomBuster climbs to the top.

Supered Prospector: the PhantomBuster alternative for teams on Clay
A sales team that already pays for Clay has the contact-data job half done and does not know it. Supered does not bring its own database. It brings Clay’s waterfall, which is every database, routed. Clay’s marketplace counts “200+ data and AI vendors” (clay.com, checked October 2, 2026), its waterfall asks provider after provider until one returns a verified email or phone, and its pricing page says “If an enrichment returns no result, you’re not charged Data Credits or Actions” (Clay pricing). Compare that with a lookup meter that charges for the miss.
The trouble is that reps rarely work in Clay. Supered Prospector puts the GTM engineer’s tables one click from the place the rep already is. Clay plus Supered is the best way for a sales team to prospect: GTM engineers build in Clay, and reps never open Clay.
- The owner check first. On the profile, the rep sees the matching HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive record and whether a teammate already prospected the person, before adding a duplicate.
- The team’s table as a button. The rep runs the flow the GTM engineer built, a single enrichment or a buying committee tuned to the team’s titles, or pushes a whole prospect list into a Clay workflow.
- One click to the CRM. Ops sets the field mapping once. The lead lands with its email and phone where the work happens.
- Found, Worked, Closed. The leader sees which lists were found, who is working theirs, and how each lead ended, Qualified, Recycled or Disqualified, the way your process says, and coaches from the lists that convert.
We make no compliance claim for Prospector, and we do not call any tool on this page LinkedIn-approved. Ask every vendor what it reads from LinkedIn, ours included, and where the contact data comes from. Prospector runs inside the Supered Chrome extension, goes live in under a week, and costs $45 per rep per month, billed annually, from one user, on your own Clay account (Prospector). Choose something else if any of these is true:
- No Clay account. Prospector needs one. Apollo or Kaspr is less to set up.
- Automated invitations are the job. Prospector does not send LinkedIn invitations or messages.
- Scraping beyond LinkedIn. Google Maps or Instagram lists belong to PhantomBuster or a scraping platform.
The other PhantomBuster competitors, by job
- Apollo. A contact database with sequences, dialer and a Chrome extension. Basic is $49 a user a month on annual billing ($65 monthly) with 30,000 credits per seat per year, and a direct dial costs 8 credits; Apollo held 4.7 out of 5 from 9,442 reviews on G2 on October 2, 2026. One note for the risk column: Apollo’s own company page vanished from LinkedIn in March 2025, as MarTech reported. Apollo alternatives grades the database field.
- Kaspr. Phones and emails on the LinkedIn profile, part of Cognism since 2022. Starter is $49 a user a month on annual billing (kaspr.io/pricing) with unlimited B2B emails and 1,200 phone credits a year, and “Use Kaspr on top of Sales Navigator.” One database: when it misses, the rep has no next source. Kaspr pricing covers the credit types.
- Evaboot. “The Smartest LinkedIn Sales Navigator Scraper,” in its own words. $29, $49 or $99 a month for 400, 1,000 or 3,000 credits, one credit per lead exported whether or not an email is found, and “Does Evaboot find phone numbers? No.” Evaboot pricing runs the cost per safe email.
- Waalaxy. Invitations, messages and follow-ups for a solo seller, from €19 a user a month with 300 invitations; 4.5 out of 5 from 1,604 reviews on G2. The cheapest outreach locksmith, same key.
- A free PhantomBuster alternative. No free tool replaces a working list tool, but three free tiers let you test one. Apollo’s free plan gives 900 credits per seat per year, Kaspr’s gives 15 B2B email and 5 phone credits a month, and PhantomBuster’s own free plan keeps 30 minutes a month with a 10-row cap per file. LinkedIn’s own free search carries no third-party risk at all, though it exports nothing.
- Sales Navigator on its own. No third party, no export. Core lists at US$119.99 a month or US$1,079.88 a year (LinkedIn, compare plans), with 50 InMail credits a month. Search, save and write by hand, and pair it with a contact-data tool for the email and phone.
What we recommend
Name the job first, then buy for it.
- A team on Clay whose reps work LinkedIn leads. Skip the automation category. Give reps the Clay tables you already pay for through Supered Prospector, at $540 a rep a year, and watch which lists end Qualified. The sourcing use case shows the loop from the rep’s side.
- A team without Clay. Apollo for data and sequences in one contract, or Kaspr for a rep or two who dial. Let Sales Navigator do the finding.
- A founder exporting searches or automating invitations. Evaboot or Waalaxy will cost less than PhantomBuster and do the one job with less setup. Read the account risk first, because the key is still yours.
- An operator scraping many platforms. PhantomBuster is still a fair pick; size the plan with PhantomBuster pricing.
Switching locksmiths makes sense when the old one overcharged you. When the problem was handing out your key, a cheaper cut does not help. LinkedIn prospecting tools grades the wider stack by job, and the LinkedIn Sales Navigator scraper page walks through what LinkedIn’s contract says, clause by clause.
