Supered vs Gong Call analysis and process checks are two different purchases.

Supered vs Gong comes down to which job you are buying for.

Gong records sales calls and meetings, analyzes them with AI, flags deal risk and forecasts from what buyers said; it holds 4.7 out of 5 from 6,743 G2 reviews. Supered is the process reps follow on each open deal: your expectations become rules, checked against the record in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, and the rep fixes what is missing on the record they already have open. Supered does not record calls, so a team that needs both jobs runs both.

01 Gong Revenue teams that need calls recorded, transcribed and analyzed, with deal warnings and forecasting from conversation data. Quote only; Vendr median $55,346 a year.
02 Supered Sales leaders with 10+ reps on HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive whose process is written down and still gets skipped. Public price, live in under a week.
03 Both Teams keeping Gong for the calls who also need the step after the call done. Supered's browser extension shows cards and guides inside Gong's web app too.

G2 on 3 October 2026: Gong 4.7 out of 5 from 6,743 reviews; Supered 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews.

Status check

Where does Gong stand in 2026?Independent, past $500 million in ARR.

Gong is private and independent. On 12 May 2026 it reported ARR above $500 million, growth above 55% year over year and "More than 5,000 companies" as customers, and it describes itself as "The Gong Revenue AI Operating System" (Gong, 12 May 2026). Gartner named it a Leader in the first Magic Quadrant for Revenue Action Orchestration in December 2025, a category Gong's release described as "emerging from the convergence of previously separate sales engagement and revenue intelligence markets."

Two changes matter to a buyer. In December 2025 Gong bought RightBound to add account and contact data (Gong blog). And since June 2026 Gong meters its heavier AI work: "Each paid, core seat includes 2,000 credits annually, shared across the company," drawn by AI Trackers, Gong's APIs and its MCP server. When the pool runs dry, "existing trackers stop processing new data" (Gong help center, checked 3 October 2026).

Fair to them first

What is Gong best at?Hearing every call, at scale.

Gong earned its category. It records the call, transcribes it, and lets a manager search months of conversations for the competitor name, the pricing objection or the moment a buyer pushed back on timing. Its G2 record, 4.7 out of 5 from 6,743 reviews (G2, checked 3 October 2026), is a strong score on a very large base, and more than 5,000 companies pay for it. Gartner placed it as a Leader for Revenue Action Orchestration.

Around the recording, Gong built deal intelligence and forecasting. Its deal pages promise that "Deal warnings assess all deal interactions, alert you to risks, and tell you what needs to be addressed before the deal is lost," and it sells "data-based guardrails to keep deals on track" (Gong). For a revenue leader whose blind spot is what buyers say, that is a serious product, and we would not talk you out of it.

Gong is game film. Each play is on tape, tagged, slowed down, and a coach can show a player the exact second the coverage broke. Film is how good teams get better on Monday. On Sunday, between snaps, the quarterback reads the next play from the card on his wristband, and that card is the job Supered does.

Why buyers compare

Why do teams compare Gong with Supered? The call got reviewed and the next step still slipped.

Gong's G2 reviews are mostly warm, so the complaints are worth reading closely. They cluster around price and effort, and the reason buyers end up on this page sits underneath them.

Supered, for the process job

What does Supered do that Gong does not?It checks whether the step after the call happened.

Supered starts from your expectations instead of your recordings. A close date that has passed, no amount after Discovery, no recap within a day of a meeting, an overdue task: each becomes a Process Rule. Rules group into a Process Ruleset, and a Process Board checks each open deal in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive against them and lists what is broken, rep by rep. The rep sees the same list in a sidebar on the record they already have open, fixes the field there, and the violation clears without anyone marking it done.

The same rules work outside the CRM. Supered connects to Claude through MCP, so a rep can ask Claude to clear their board: Claude reads the rules, updates the fields, and saves recap emails as drafts for the rep to review (Supered for Claude). Managers see who followed the process, with streaks for reps who finish the day at zero, so the one-on-one can spend its time on the Gong clip instead of on missing fields. The full pattern is on sales expectations.

To keep the film picture, Supered writes the call sheet and checks, play by play, that it got run. Its Chrome and Edge extension runs on any web app, Gong included, so a card or step-by-step guide can sit beside the call library when a rep opens it. This page claims no data connector between the two products: Supered's rules read your CRM records, and Gong's analysis stays in Gong.

Process Compliance costs $40 per user per month on a yearly plan ($45 monthly), with a 5-user minimum, and includes Digital Adoption. For 25 reps on the yearly plan that is $12,000 a year. At Vendr's $1,200 to $2,400 per Gong seat, 25 seats run $30,000 to $60,000 a year before the platform fee, our arithmetic; your own quote will differ. Full plans are on Supered pricing.

Conceptual diagram of Supered vs Gong across one deal: Gong records and analyzes the call, Supered checks the open record after the call for the recap, the next meeting and the amount, and each reports a different question afterwards
Conceptual. Gong does its work on the call: recording, transcript, trackers, deal warnings. Supered does its work after the call, on the CRM record, when the recap, the next meeting and the amount either happen or get skipped. Afterwards each answers a different question: what was said, and which rep followed which rule.
Choose something else when the job looks like this
  • Calls no manager can hear. If managers have no recording of what reps say, start with a recorder. Gong leads that job, and Gong alternatives grades the cheaper ones.
  • A forecast built from conversations. Forecasting from what buyers said on calls is Gong's ground. Supered checks the process on the record and does not forecast.
  • Field or mobile-first teams. Supered has no mobile app. It fits teams of 10 or more who work at a computer.

The verdict

Supered vs Gong: which should you choose?Decide by the job, then run both if you need both.

If your problem is knowing what happens on sales calls and forecasting from it, Gong is the best pick. We are the best pick if your problem is reps who know the process and skip the steps between calls.

Choose Gong for
  • Recorded, searchable calls. Transcripts, trackers and coaching from what buyers said.
  • Deal risk from conversations. Warnings built from the interactions on each deal.
  • A large rollout. A G2 base of 6,743 reviews and more than 5,000 customers.
Choose Supered for
  • Expectations reps skip. Close dates, amounts, recaps and next steps checked on each open record, with a board per rep.
  • HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive as home base. Guidance on the record, in any web app including Gong, and in Claude.
  • A public price and a short setup. $40 per user per month yearly, live in under a week.

Both, in order. Keep Gong for the calls and add Supered for the process. Get the behavior right first, so the next Gong review can spend its time on how the rep sold.

Why trust this page

Why trust a comparison written by Supered?Weigh it, then check the sources.

We sell one of the two products on this page, so weigh what follows. Each Gong number links to its source and carries the date we checked it, 3 October 2026. If Gong ships per-rule checks of CRM fields that a sales leader defines, this page changes.

Supered started inside RevPartners, the HubSpot partner Matt Bolian founded, which sold roughly twice as much Sales Hub as any other partner and reached HubSpot's Elite tier in 13 months. Supered is the #1 sales enablement app on the HubSpot marketplace and a HubSpot Premier Tech Partner, with 6,000+ installs. On G2 it holds 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews (checked 3 October 2026); on the HubSpot marketplace, 5.0 from 122 reviews (checked 1 October 2026).

"The process boards map our actual SOP step-by-step and guide me through each stage so I don't skip anything - logging notes, updating fields, sending the right follow-ups."

The questions

Supered vs Gong, asked plainly.

Is Supered a Gong alternative?

For one job, yes. If you bought Gong mainly to get reps following the sales process after their calls, Supered does that job directly: your expectations become rules, checked against open deals in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive. If you bought Gong to record and analyze calls, Supered is an addition to it, because Supered does not record calls.

Can Supered and Gong run together?

Yes. They do different jobs. Keep the calls in Gong and put the process in Supered. Supered's Chrome and Edge extension runs inside Gong's web app like any other web app, so cards and guides can sit beside the call library. We claim no data connector between the two: Supered's rules read your CRM records.

Does Supered record or analyze sales calls?

No. Supered does not record, transcribe or score calls. It checks the CRM record against your rules, such as a recap within a day of a meeting or an amount after Discovery, and shows the rep what to fix. Teams that need call recording keep Gong or another recorder.

How much does Gong cost compared with Supered?

Gong does not publish prices; its pricing page says licenses are priced per user plus a platform fee. Vendr puts the median Gong contract at $55,346 a year across 1,144 purchases, with a range of $11,491 to $203,767 (checked 3 October 2026). Supered publishes its price: Process Compliance is $40 per user per month on a yearly plan, $45 monthly, with a 5-user minimum.

What are Gong credits?

A usage meter for Gong's heavier AI work. Each paid core seat includes 2,000 credits a year, pooled across the company and reset each contract year. AI Trackers, Gong's APIs and its MCP server draw on the pool; pretrained trackers and manual actions do not. When credits run out, existing trackers stop processing new data and API requests that need credits fail.

How long does Supered take to set up?

Teams typically go live in under a week, sometimes in a day, and implementation is included. The slow part is agreeing which expectations matter most, so start with the steps your reps skip most often after calls and add rules from there.
