Supered vs Whatfix Guidance on the screen, or the logic every deal follows.

Supered vs Whatfix comes down to where the work needs help.

Whatfix is a digital adoption platform: it lays walkthroughs, Smart Tips and analytics over web, desktop and mobile apps, and it is the stronger pick for teaching a large workforce new software. Supered is built for the sales process inside HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive: your expectations become rules, each open deal gets checked against them, and the rep sees what to fix on the record. If you have both jobs, you can run both tools.

01 Whatfix IT and enablement teams rolling out several enterprise apps to hundreds of employees. 46.2% of its G2 reviewers are enterprise, 36.7% mid-market.
02 Supered Sales leaders with 10+ reps on HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive whose process is written down and still gets skipped. Public price, live in under a week.
03 Both Companies that keep Whatfix for ERP, HR and finance software and want the sales process checked deal by deal in the CRM.

G2 on 3 October 2026: Whatfix 4.5 out of 5 from 554 reviews; Supered 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews.

Status check

Is Whatfix still independent?Yes, and it is eyeing a listing.

Whatfix is independent. Its last disclosed round was a $125 million Series E led by Warburg Pincus on 25 September 2024, which took total funding to $328 million at a reported valuation near $900 million (Crunchbase News). In November 2025, Mergermarket reported that Whatfix was talking to advisors about a 2026 stock market listing in India, on FY24 revenue of INR 4.2 billion, about $46.8 million (ION Analytics, 21 November 2025). A news check on 3 October 2026 found no acquisition or merger.

The product line has grown past the original walkthrough engine. Whatfix sells three products, its Digital Adoption Platform, Product Analytics and Mirror (hands-on simulations of an app for training), on Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans with no public prices (Whatfix pricing). Its homepage claims 700+ customers and 49 million users guided across 1,800 applications (whatfix.com), and Gartner Peer Insights named it a Customers' Choice for digital adoption platforms for the third year running in 2026.

For a buyer, that adds up to a well-funded vendor with one focus. A listing would not change the product this year. It is still a reason to put price caps and an exit clause in any multi-year contract.

Fair to them first

What is Whatfix best at?Teaching software to a big workforce.

Whatfix earns its rating on the hard version of the adoption problem. A company rolls out a new ERP, HR system and CRM in the same year, and thousands of people need to finish tasks in software they have never seen. A Whatfix author records a Flow once and plays it to all of them, adds a Smart Tip that checks a field as it is filled, and pins a Self Help widget that searches the knowledge base from inside the app. G2 reviewers give it 4.5 out of 5 from 554 reviews and rate its support 9.7 (G2). The strengths they mention most are ease of use (75 reviews), support (58) and no-code authoring (48).

It also reaches further into sales than most digital adoption platforms. Whatfix's Salesforce page says it can "reinforce required Salesforce fields, stage criteria, process steps, and data-entry expectations with Smart Tips and guided Flows," and that its Product Analytics measures "workflow completion, user journeys, drop-offs, and adoption by role or cohort" (Whatfix for Salesforce). For a Salesforce team that wants validation at the moment of entry, that is a real capability.

A digital adoption platform works like the voice in a car's navigation system. It sits in the passenger seat and calls out the turn as you reach it, and it is good at that. It only speaks while someone is driving.

Why buyers compare

Why do teams compare Whatfix with Supered?A deal nobody opens never gets a tooltip.

Whatfix's G2 reviews are mostly warm. The complaints cluster around building and keeping up content, and the reason sales leaders land on this page sits underneath them.

Supered, for the process job

What does Supered do that Whatfix does not?It checks the deal when no one opens it.

Supered starts from your expectations instead of from a screen. A close date in the past, no amount after Discovery, no recap within a day of a meeting, an overdue task: each becomes a Process Rule. Rules group into a Process Ruleset, and a Process Board checks each open deal in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive against them and lists what is broken, rep by rep. When the rep opens the record, the same list sits in a sidebar; they fix the field there, and the violation clears without anyone marking it done.

The same rules work outside the CRM. Supered connects to Claude through MCP, so a rep can ask Claude to clear their board: Claude reads the rules, updates the fields, and saves recap emails as drafts for the rep to review (Supered for Claude). Managers see who followed the process, with streaks for reps who finish the day at zero. The full pattern is on sales expectations.

Supered also covers the guidance half, sized for a sales team. Its Digital Adoption plan includes step-by-step Guides recorded with the browser extension, knowledge cards, Triggers that pin a card to a specific page in HubSpot, Salesforce or any web app, in-app updates and knowledge checks. Back in the car: Supered adds the dispatch board, the list of deliveries that missed a stop, including the trucks parked in the yard today.

Digital Adoption costs $13.50 per user per month on a yearly plan ($15 monthly). Process Compliance costs $40 per user per month yearly ($45 monthly), with a 5-user minimum, and includes Digital Adoption. For 25 reps on yearly Process Compliance that is $12,000 a year, with implementation included. Full plans are on Supered pricing.

Conceptual diagram of Supered vs Whatfix: Whatfix acts on the screen while a user works, with Smart Tips and Flows; Supered acts on each open deal, including deals nobody opened; afterwards each reports a different answer
Conceptual. Whatfix acts on the screen, while someone is using it. Supered acts on each open deal, including the ones nobody has opened this week. Afterwards each answers a different question: who finished the flow, and which rep broke which rule.
Choose something else when the job looks like this
  • Many apps, many departments. Rolling out ERP, HR and finance software to thousands of employees is Whatfix's home ground, and it does that job better.
  • Desktop, mobile or simulation training. Supered runs in the browser. It has no mobile app, no desktop-app guidance and no training sandbox.
  • Large enterprise rollouts. Supered's G2 reviewers are 72.6% small business and 27.4% mid-market, with no enterprise share yet. Whatfix's base is 46.2% enterprise.

The verdict

Supered vs Whatfix: which should you choose?Name the job first. The tool follows.

If your problem is teaching a large workforce to use several applications, Whatfix is the best pick. We are the best pick if your problem is sales reps who know the CRM and skip the process.

Choose Whatfix for
  • A multi-app rollout. ERP, HR, finance and CRM screens taught to hundreds or thousands of employees.
  • Desktop, mobile and simulations. Guidance beyond the browser, and practice environments before go-live.
  • Product analytics on internal apps. Workflow completion and drop-offs by role or cohort.
Choose Supered for
  • Expectations reps skip. Close dates, amounts, recaps and next steps checked on each open deal, with a board per rep.
  • HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive as home base. Guidance on the record, in any web app, and in Claude, with nothing new for reps to log into.
  • A public price and a short setup. $13.50 or $40 per user per month yearly, live in under a week.

Both, split by department. Keep Whatfix for the enterprise apps, put the sales process in Supered, and give reps one sidebar to check in the CRM.

Why trust this page

Why trust a comparison written by Supered?Weigh it, then check the sources.

We sell one of the two products on this page, so weigh what follows. Each competitor number links to its source and carries the date we checked it, 3 October 2026. If Whatfix ships a rules engine that checks each open deal and lists the misses by rep, this page changes.

Supered started inside RevPartners, the HubSpot partner Matt Bolian founded, which sold roughly twice as much Sales Hub as any other partner and reached HubSpot's Elite tier in 13 months. Supered is the #1 sales enablement app on the HubSpot marketplace and a HubSpot Premier Tech Partner, with 6,000+ installs. On G2 it holds 4.9 out of 5 from 81 reviews (checked 3 October 2026); on the HubSpot marketplace, 5.0 from 122 reviews (checked 1 October 2026).

"Instead of asking people to hunt through docs or a separate LMS, Supered puts the right guidance directly inside our CRM at the moment it's needed; deal stage, workflow step, record type, you name it."

Pedro M. · Ambassador, Founding Member Growth Institute · G2

"I used to miss steps - forget to update a field, skip a follow-up, use an outdated template. That cost me deals and got me flagged in reviews. Supered removed all of that."

The questions

Supered vs Whatfix, asked plainly.

Is Supered a Whatfix alternative?

For a sales team, often yes. If you bought Whatfix mainly to get reps following the sales process in the CRM, Supered does that job directly: your expectations become rules, checked against open deals in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, and its Digital Adoption plan covers guides and in-app cards. If you use Whatfix across ERP, HR and other enterprise apps, Supered sits beside it for sales.

Can Whatfix enforce required fields in Salesforce?

Yes, on the screen. Whatfix says its Smart Tips and Flows can reinforce required Salesforce fields, stage criteria and data-entry expectations while a user works. Supered checks each open deal against your rules whether or not anyone opens it, lists violations by rep on a Process Board, and runs on HubSpot and Pipedrive as well as Salesforce.

How much does Whatfix cost compared with Supered?

Whatfix publishes no price. Its Standard, Premium and Enterprise plans are quoted by product, platform and number of applications (checked 3 October 2026). Supered publishes its price: Digital Adoption is $13.50 per user per month on a yearly plan, and Process Compliance is $40 per user per month yearly, $45 monthly, with a 5-user minimum.

Is Whatfix still an independent company?

Yes, as of 3 October 2026. Whatfix raised a $125 million Series E led by Warburg Pincus in September 2024, and Mergermarket reported in November 2025 that it was talking to advisors about a 2026 listing in India. We found no acquisition or merger.

Does Supered work outside HubSpot?

Yes. Supered integrates natively with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, and its Chrome and Edge extension shows cards, guides and rules in any web app reps use. It has no mobile app and no desktop-app guidance, so it fits teams who work in a browser.

How long does Supered take to set up?

Teams typically go live in under a week, sometimes in a day, with implementation included. The slow part is agreeing which expectations matter most, so start with the handful your reps skip most often and add rules from there.
