Wiza Review 2026: A Good Car With the Towbar Taken Off
A Wiza review checked October 2, 2026: what Wiza does since it dropped Sales Navigator bulk export, its G2, Capterra, Chrome Web Store and Trustpilot ratings with dated review themes, accuracy, price, Lusha vs Wiza, and who should and should not buy.
This Wiza review grades Wiza, the LinkedIn-first email and phone finder from Wiza, Inc., on what it does since its August 19, 2026 change, what it costs, what its ratings and reviewers say, and who should buy it.
A car review from May says the car tows a boat. It does: the reviewer hitched up a trailer and drove it to the lake. In August the maker unbolted the towbar from every car on the road, all at once, and wrote to owners that the hitch was gone for good. The car still drives well. It seats the same people. The May review is still online, still five stars, still about towing.
This Wiza review grades Wiza, the LinkedIn-first email and phone finder from Wiza, Inc., on what it does since its August 19, 2026 change, what it costs, what its ratings and reviewers say, and who should buy it. The towbar was Sales Navigator bulk export, and Wiza’s help center took it off in one line: “Bulk export and multi-select are gone from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter search, list, and company pages,” on “all accounts and plans” (Wiza help). Most of the Wiza reviews you will find were written about the car with the hitch.
The verdict, up front:
- Buy Wiza. One rep, recruiter or founder working LinkedIn one profile at a time, who wants a checked email and phone in the CRM at a posted price: $990 or $1,990 a year.
- Skip Wiza. A team that wanted whole Sales Navigator lists, or a team of ten that wants a published team price.
- Use Supered Prospector. A team that already pays for Clay. Wiza can stay as one step in Clay’s waterfall, and reps run the GTM engineer’s tables from the page they are on, at $45 per rep per month billed annually.
What does Wiza do in 2026?
Three things, two of them unchanged.
- The extension. A floating icon on a full LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter profile opens Wiza in Chrome’s side panel. The rep reveals the person’s email and phone, adds them to a Wiza list, checks the CRM for a match, and syncs. “Wiza does not read previews,” so in Sales Navigator the rep opens the full profile first. Our Wiza Chrome extension teardown reads the new package line by line.
- Wiza Prospect. Wiza’s own database, which it counts at “850M+ contacts” (wiza.co), searchable by job, location, skills, past company, headcount and technologies. Since August, Wiza sends list builders here: “To build the same list, use the available filters to search for those people in Wiza Prospect.”
- Lists from files and CRMs. Upload a CSV of names and companies or LinkedIn URLs, or import a list from the CRM, and Wiza enriches it.
A G2 reviewer on July 2, 2026 named the towbar as the best part: “Extracting Data from Sales navigator that is best part” (Dhanashree K., Head of Sales Marketing, small business). Seven weeks later it was gone. Read any review dated before August 19 with that in mind.
Is Wiza legit?
Yes, on every check a buyer can run from outside.
- The company. Wiza, Inc., with a Newark, Delaware address and a D-U-N-S number on its Chrome Web Store listing, where Google adds “The publisher has a good record with no history of violations” (Chrome Web Store, Wiza, October 2, 2026). A web search the same day found no acquisition, merger or rebrand. (Wiz, the security company Google bought, is a different firm.)
- The paperwork. Wiza’s Trust Center lists “Compliance information for GDPR, CCPA, US data privacy, and SOC 2” and “SOC 2 Type 2 documentation,” available on request (Wiza help, Trust Center, updated August 19, 2026).
- The opt-out. People who find themselves in Wiza’s directory can file a removal at wiza.co/optout_directory and Wiza says to “allow up to 72 hours” (Wiza help, removal).
- The billing terms. “All Wiza plans, whether monthly or annual, renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle,” and monthly plans can be paused for up to three months (Wiza help, renewals). Put the renewal date in your calendar the day you buy.
What do Wiza reviews say?
A house can keep two guest books. The one by the front door is signed by guests who came to dinner. The one by the back gate is signed by neighbors who never asked to be on the guest list and found their name on it anyway. Both report what they saw. They saw different things.
| Site (October 2, 2026) | Rating | Reviews | Who writes there |
|---|---|---|---|
| G2 | 4.5 out of 5 | 1,274 | Buyers and users |
| Capterra | 4.3 out of 5 (ease of use 4.6, customer service 4.3) | 24 | Buyers and users |
| Chrome Web Store | 4.2 out of 5 | 140 ratings, 100,000 users | Extension users; newest ten reviews all predate August 19, 2026 |
| Trustpilot | 1.9 TrustScore | 13, profile unclaimed | Mostly people whose own data is in Wiza |
The front-door book, from G2’s tags and dated reviews (G2, Wiza reviews):
- Ease of use. Tagged in 427 reviews, the most common praise by far, with “simple, fast access to verified contact information” in 322.
- The meter. “Expensive, especially for startups” appears in 157 reviews and “Limited credits” in 127. “The main thing I would improve is the credit system,” a sales manager wrote on September 17, 2026, and a service-desk lead on July 13: “Credits are consumed even when contact information isn’t always usable.”
- The misses. “Sometimes contact details are not found, need to use another software” (marketing reviewer, August 18, 2026); “Sometimes the phone numbers can be outdated or inaccurate, but that seems normal for this industry” (real estate, September 29, 2026).
- The entry price. “The entry price is kind of high if you are just starting” (Mariana G., August 2026).
The back-gate book is small and angry. Of Trustpilot’s five most recent reviews, dated January 21 to August 19, 2026, one says Wiza is processing the writer’s personal data in breach of UK GDPR, one says it “posted my workplace that is years out of date,” one calls it a source for scammers, and two dispute charges. The first three are the neighbors’ book, and the opt-out above is Wiza’s answer to them. The two billing disputes are buyers, and the auto-renewal term above is the context. Our Lusha review found the same split for Lusha, a sign that the gap belongs to the category more than to either vendor.
How accurate is Wiza?
Wiza’s pitch is when it checks. “Every other tool pre-loads a database and hopes it hasn’t gone stale. Wiza verifies contact data the moment you request it,” says its homepage. Its help center describes the checks: syntax, domain, an SMTP conversation with the mail server “without sending an actual email,” MX records, catch-all detection and disposable-address detection (Wiza help, verification). Wiza says valid emails are “verified with 97% deliverability,” and risky ones, which it puts at 50 to 70%, are “completely free” (Wiza help, valid and risky). Those are Wiza’s own numbers.
The reviewers agree more than you might expect. On G2’s head-to-head pages, Wiza scores 8.3 out of 10 for contact data accuracy, against 7.7 for ZoomInfo and 7.6 for Lusha, and 8.6 for contact data availability against Lusha’s 7.9. Two cautions keep that from being a verdict. First, 74.8% of Wiza’s reviewers are small businesses, and a buyer’s satisfaction tracks what they expected to get; Wiza vs ZoomInfo walks through why cross-segment scores mislead. Second, a checked email is still one database’s answer, and “need to use another software” is the sound of a rep running a second database by hand. Run 200 contacts from your own lists through the free plan (20 valid emails, 5 phones) or a Starter month before you sign anything annual.
How much does Wiza cost?
From wiza.co/pricing, October 2, 2026, per user:
| Plan | Price | What it buys |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 20 valid emails, 5 phone numbers |
| Starter (monthly) | $49 a month | 100 emails and 100 phones a month, then $0.15 an email, $0.35 a phone |
| Email (annual) | $990 a year | Unlimited emails, $0.35 a phone |
| Email + Phone (annual) | $1,990 a year | Unlimited emails and phones |
| Team | Custom, 3+ users, annual | Adds Wiza Prospect, CSV import, API |
“Unlimited” means 500 reveals in 24 hours, 50 in five minutes, 10 processing at once, and 2,500 list exports a month on annual plans. The $1,000 step from Email to Email + Phone pays for itself past about 2,860 phones a year, roughly 11 a working day. Wiza pricing works through the API route, which is cheaper for light users.
Lusha vs Wiza: which is better?
Same road, different cars. Lusha is the closest like-for-like rival: an extension that reveals contacts on LinkedIn and company sites, a database behind it, and a credit meter. G2’s head-to-head, read October 2, 2026 (G2, Lusha vs Wiza):
| G2 category | Lusha | Wiza |
|---|---|---|
| Overall | 4.3 (1,667 reviews) | 4.5 (1,274 reviews) |
| Ease of use | 9.2 | 9.0 |
| Ease of setup | 9.0 | 8.7 |
| Quality of support | 8.1 | 8.6 |
| Product direction | 8.3 | 8.8 |
| Contact data accuracy | 7.6 | 8.3 |
| Company data accuracy | 7.7 | 8.4 |
| Contact data availability | 7.9 | 8.6 |
Lusha wins the first impression; Wiza wins the data and the support desk. Lusha’s reviewers lean bigger (46.8% mid-market, 39.6% small business) and its Chrome extension carries 4.6 from 1.9K ratings and 400,000 users, against Wiza’s 4.2 from 140.
The meters differ more than the scores. Lusha sells credits: Starter is $37.45 a month billed yearly for 4,800 credits a year, an email costs 1 credit and a phone 5 (lusha.com/pricing, October 1, 2026), so an email and a phone together cost 6 and Starter buys about 800 of them a year, about 3 a working day. Even at Lusha’s lowest posted price per credit, Premium at $299.95 a month billed yearly for 40,800 credits, an email and a phone cost about 53 cents. Wiza’s $1,990 annual seat matches that at about 3,760 contacts a year, roughly 15 new email-and-phone contacts a working day. Below that line Lusha is cheaper; above it, Wiza’s flat seat is.
Wiza vs Lusha on Sales Navigator is the oddest row. Lusha’s own docs, read October 1, 2026, still say “Some features, such as bulk reveal on Sales Navigator, vary by plan tier,” while Wiza removed its bulk controls citing LinkedIn’s tighter rules. LinkedIn’s User Agreement, section 8.2, bars software used “to scrape or copy the Services, including profiles and other data” (LinkedIn User Agreement), and we make no compliance claim for either vendor. Ask both, in writing, what their extension reads from a Sales Navigator page. In Clay the two also differ: Wiza’s lookups can be paid in Clay credits, while Lusha’s contact lookups need your own Lusha account. For the full Lusha picture, including its privacy dispute in Italy, see the Lusha review and Lusha Chrome extension pages.
Who should buy Wiza, and who should not?
The car is good. Buy it for the trips it makes.
- The single LinkedIn prospector. A rep, recruiter or founder who opens a profile, reveals, and syncs, all day. Wiza’s narrow extension, checked emails and free risky results make the annual Email plan fair value at $990.
- The heavy dialer. Someone revealing more than about 11 phones a working day, where the $1,990 Email + Phone seat beats paying $0.35 a phone, and more than about 15 contacts a day, where it beats Lusha.
- Not the list builder. If whole Sales Navigator lists were the job, the hitch is gone. Wiza Prospect, Apollo or a Clay table rebuilds the list from a database you can search.
- Not the ten-rep team on a budget line. Wiza quotes teams of three or more; the individual list price for ten Email + Phone seats is $19,900, which is the number to beat in that negotiation.
- Not the territory planner. Company data, intent and org charts are ZoomInfo’s job.
Why trust this review?
Supered sells no contact data. Prospector runs on Clay, and Clay sells a Wiza step, so we gain nothing by talking you out of Wiza’s data. I started RevPartners, a HubSpot partner that did only sales implementations, sold roughly twice as much Sales Hub as any other partner, and reached Elite tier in 13 months. Supered is the #1 sales enablement app on the HubSpot marketplace, rated 5.0 from 122 reviews there and 4.9 out of 5 from 81 on G2 (checked October 1, 2026). Each Wiza fact here links to the page it came from, opened October 2, 2026, and the disclosure stands: we make Supered Prospector, and it is the recommendation for teams on Clay.
| Option | Grade (out of 50, same scoring as Wiza alternatives) | Best fit | Pricing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supered Prospector | A (44) | Teams already on Clay | $45 per rep per month, billed annually, plus your Clay plan |
| Lusha | B+ (29) | Small teams wanting posted plans to five seats | From $37.45 a month, billed yearly |
| Wiza | B- (24) | One rep, one profile at a time | $990 or $1,990 a year per user |
Where does Supered Prospector fit?
A car carries one family. When the trip needs more than one car can hold, you call a dispatcher who sends whichever vehicle is free. Clay is the dispatcher for contact data: its waterfall asks provider after provider across 200+ data and AI providers until one returns a verified email or phone (clay.com), and “If an enrichment returns no result, you’re not charged Data Credits or Actions” (clay.com/pricing, October 2, 2026). Wiza is one of the cars in the fleet: Clay lists “Find Work Email with Wiza” and “Find Phone Number with Wiza,” each paid in “Clay Credits or Bring Your Own Account” (Clay, Wiza). The G2 reviewer who had to “use another software” gets the other software without opening it.
Prospector does not bring its own database. It brings Clay’s waterfall, which is every database, routed. Clay plus Supered is the best way for a sales team to prospect: GTM engineers build in Clay, reps never open Clay. Prospector runs inside the Supered Chrome extension, on your own Clay account.
- The rep’s button. On a LinkedIn profile, a company’s website or a HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive record, the rep picks a flow from a Push menu and the GTM engineer’s table runs. In Sales Navigator, reps add leads to a prospect list and push the list to a Clay table.
- The check before the push. The rep sees the matching CRM record, its owner, and a flag when the prospect was already worked.
- The plays your team names. Research an account and pull the buying committee you defined; find the rest of the team at a customer; push a past champion who changed jobs, with the new team.
- Found, worked, closed. The leader sees each list found, who is working theirs and who is not, and how each lead ended: Qualified, Recycled or Disqualified.
On LinkedIn, in our own words: Prospector works within LinkedIn’s terms and does not copy search results in bulk; the contact data comes from Clay’s waterfall on the customer’s Clay account. Ask every vendor what it reads from a LinkedIn page, ours included. Supered Prospector vs Wiza sets the two side by side.
Prospector is $45 per rep per month, billed annually, from one rep, with implementation included and teams live in under a week (Prospector). On a Clay account RevOps already pays for, that is $540 a rep a year against Wiza’s $1,990 Email + Phone seat. Buying Clay for this, ten reps on Clay Growth (its $495 monthly rate, $5,940 a year) plus Prospector come to $11,340.
Choose something else if you have no Clay account (buy Wiza or Lusha from the branches above), if no one on the team will own the waterfall order, or if you want a sequencer and dialer in the same seat, where Apollo fits; RevPartners, the Clay Elite Studio Partner I founded (now a Walker Sands company), builds tables for teams that want Clay and need help.
What is our verdict on Wiza?
- For one LinkedIn prospector. Buy it. Annual Email at $990, or Email + Phone at $1,990 past about 11 phones a working day. It is a well-reviewed, carefully built finder, and its accuracy scores lead the field on G2.
- For a small team weighing Lusha. Lusha for a cheap start and posted seats; Wiza once a rep passes about 15 new contacts a working day.
- For a team that came for Sales Navigator lists. Look elsewhere; Wiza alternatives grades the field.
- For a team on Clay. Keep Wiza in the fleet if its data earns it, and give reps the dispatcher.
Wiza is a good car that lost its towbar, and its help center says so plainly, even if its store window does not yet. Judge it on the trips it still makes. The Clay Chrome extension guide shows what a rep-side layer on Clay should do, Wiza vs Apollo settles the other common head-to-head, and a Prospector demo shows the dispatcher at work on your own Clay account.
